Frishine supplies high quality fencing components for the effective and secure installation of metal fence panels: clamps, couplers, clips, metal feet and fasteners. All sizes available to meet the varied specifications and types required for installing different temporary fencing materials.
Clamps and Clips
Clamps and clips are used in connecting and securing fence panels.
Metal Steel Clamps
- Design: Clamps are designed to secure two parts together with a tight grip. Two plates or halves encircle the items to be clamped, then tightened by screws or bolts.
- Application: Clamps are used to provide a strong, semi-permanent connection between fence panels or between a panel and another structure.
- Versatility: Steel clamps can be adjusted according to requirement.
- Durability: Fencing clamps and couplers are made from durable carbon steel, suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Clips
- Design: Clips are usually simpler, lighter, and designed for quick attachment and detachment. Steel clips can snap over the edges or surfaces of the panels to hold them together, often without the need for tools.
- Application: Clips are ideal for temporary fencing assembly and disassembly. Clips are not as robust as clamps for long-term or high-stress applications.
- Convenience: Main advantage of clips lies in ease of use, allowing for quick setup and adjustments with minimal effort.
- Material: Made from durable materials, fence clips are mainly used for lighter fencing needs compared to clamps.
The choice between clamps and clips will depend on the specific requirements of the fencing project, including the need for strength, permanence, ease of installation, and the environmental conditions the fence will face.
Clamps offer a stronger, more adjustable connection for permanent or semi-permanent installations, while clips provide easy quick installation for temporary fence barriers.
Galvanised Temporary Fence Clamps / Couplers
Galvanised Temporary Fence Clamps are designed to offer support and durability, ensuring that fence panels are firmly joined together. Primary material for fence clamps is heavy-duty, 4mm thick steel. Couplers / clamps are finished with hot-dipped galvanizing, meeting Australian standards, against corrosion and wear.
Common Sizes and Specifications
- Standard clamp length is 100mm, used for tube frames measuring 32mm in diameter. Each clamp has a bolt and nut, ensuring a secure and tight fit. The clamps are designed to accommodate a 25mm/25mm NB (Nominal Bore) with a 71mm pitch, perfectly fitting 32mm OD (Outer Diameter) pipes. Our standard clamps fit for most temporary fencing applications.
Size Customization
- Clamps for smaller frames, such as 25mm OD pipes, for lighter fences.
Extended length clamps, up to 120mm, for larger frames or specialized applications requiring additional support.
Clamps can be made for non-standard pipe diameters, including 28mm, 35mm, and 40mm OD pipes, for special temporary fencing fixing.
Galvanised Fencing Clips
Galvanised Steel Clips are components to connect temporary fencing panels. Fabricated from galvanised steel, fencing clips are corrosion resistant for durability and harsh environmental conditions. Two clips for each panel connection.
Standard Sizes and Specifications
Clips are supplied for a wide range of standard and custom sizes.
- Clips for smaller panel frames, in 20mm, ideal for lightweight and compact fencing solutions.
- Larger clips can range up to 50mm in diameter for heavier fence panels.
- Adjustable clips, can fit with a range of panel sizes.
Customized clips and standard ones are all made of high-quality galvanised steel material, ensuring durability and effectiveness.
